A gracefully auspicious deer boss with seven to eight health phases, each introducing new mechanics. Emphasizes green orb management and dodge-heavy combat over parries.

Mechanics

Everdeer's defining mechanic is Deer's Blessing: boss flies into air and summons multiple green orbs around arena that channel life energy back into it. Destroy as many orbs as possible before channel completes-each orb left alive grants Everdeer significant bonus HP recovery, stacking a debuff that cuts player damage output. Phase 2 explicitly requires Flute of the Tides Mystic Skill to clear orbs efficiently. Boss chains multiple strikes together in quick succession; attacks cover wide areas or originate from ground, making parries awkward or impossible-dodging is safer and more reliable. Each health bar depletion triggers phase transition with new abilities; these transitions are optimal stagger windows for damage windows.

Phases

Phase 1
Phase 1-4: Progressive Mechanics

Destroy Withered Branches analogue mechanics and learn attack patterns. Dodge wide-area and ground-origin attacks rather than parrying. Manage Deer's Blessing orbs as they appear.
Phase 2
Phase 5-8: Orb-Heavy & Debuff Stacking

Green orbs become central mechanic. Each phase transition introduces new attacks and orb configurations. Use Flute of the Tides Mystic Skill to clear orbs quickly and prevent damage debuff stacking. Phase transitions are best stagger windows-build pressure when safe and during transitions.

Strategy

Prioritize dodge-based gameplay; parrying is unreliable here. When Deer's Blessing triggers, immediately focus orbs over boss HP-clearing them prevents massive healing and damage debuff. Use Flute of the Tides proactively rather than reactively to keep orbs managed. Watch for phase transitions (health bar depletion) and capitalize on stagger windows with burst damage. Given seven-to-eight phases, this is a stamina and pattern endurance fight more than raw DPS.

Lore

Encountered in Snow Sparrow Hall within the westernmost Steed's Pass area of Liangzhou, Everdeer represents the fiercely auspicious wilderness guardian of Hexi's snow-swept frontier. Part of the narrative set alongside the 'oppressive siege warfare of Dasan Pass,' Everdeer is lore-heavy and punishing-a natural hazard of the region rather than a quest-specific boss. Accessible as world bounty challenge once the region is unlocked.
