Mechanics

A 5-star tight-parry-design boss with extreme aggression. Mechanically tuned so raw damage cannot carry the fight - survival depends on reading glint cues and Qi-breaking via parries, not on burst DPS. The recommended approach is parry first, dodge backward to create space, disengage rather than trade - the boss punishes any sustained close-range commitment that doesn't include perfect parry strings.Phase 2 introduces lightning-based attacks that demand mobility - staying mobile is the lightning-survival requirement, since the lightning is gold-glint dodge-only and any block-attempt eats full damage. Red-glint attacks are the primary damage route (parry counter triggers a high-damage punish window). Once staggered/Exhausted, Mystic Arts dump window opens - Dragon's Breath, Drunken Poet, Wolflike Frenzy chain into Execute for the maximum damage burst.

Phase 1: Spectral Discipline

General-themed sword/spear moveset with extreme aggression. Tight red-glint parry windows are the primary Qi-drain route. Stagger-and-burst rotation: parry to Exhaust → Mystic Arts dump → Execute.
Phase 2
Phase 2: Lightning Wrath

Lightning-element attacks introduced as gold-glint dodge-only strikes. Mobility becomes non-negotiable. Parry cadence remains the Qi-drain mechanism, but lightning interrupts the rhythm if mishandled.

Strategy

Defensive-first, burst-windowed offense - never trade hits, parry-counter every red-glint, dodge-only on yellow/gold. Save Mystic Arts as a single burst pile for the Exhaust window rather than spreading them.Weapon: any parry-capable weapon with strong stagger potential. Heavy weapons can shine on the Exhaust burst window. Common mistakes: trying to out-DPS through his aggression (impossible, the fight is mathematically parry-gated), failing to dodge lightning (block-attempts eat full damage), and burning Mystic Arts during open phases rather than banking them for Exhaust.

The Nameless General haunts the Martial Temple in Jadewood Court - a temple dedicated to military spirits and fallen generals. His name is the absence of a name: he is the unidentified soldier turned vengeful spirit, retained by the temple as both a tribute and a binding. The lightning attacks in Phase 2 suggest a death by execution or storm-mediated event.He represents the forgotten-soldier archetype in WWM's worldbuilding - a man whose individual identity was lost to history but whose martial discipline remained intense enough to bind a vengeful spirit to a physical location. Pairs thematically with Guo Xin (the named, remembered general) as inverse twin bosses - one tragic-but-named, one tragic-and-erased.
