During phase transitions, one sibling sits next to a tree and attacks the player from a distance while the other engages - the Flute of the Tides bridges this distance-pressure too. Phases

Phase 1
Phase 1: Dual Performance

Both siblings engage simultaneously with melody-weapon combos. Red-glint attacks frequent, parry-counter the primary damage route. Standard WWM parry-school combat with paired-target attention split.
Phase 2
Phase 2: Tree-Sit Transition

One sibling sits next to a tree and ranged-attacks; the other continues melee pressure. Flute of the Tides interrupts the ranged sibling's special skill, neutralising the distance-pressure. Pre-finisher phase.
Phase 3
Phase 3: Finisher Red-Glint

Concludes the fight via a mandatory red-glint parry. Miss it and the fight resets or the player dies - the finisher is parry-gated. Most tension-loaded moment of the encounter.

Strategy

Flute of the Tides is functionally mandatory - without it the ranged-sibling special skill resolves uncontested and the fight stretches dangerously long. 60 Musicality stat is a hard requirement just to unlock - players must invest in the Musicality side-system to access this boss.Combat: parry red-glints religiously, save Flute of the Tides for the tree-sit transition phase, and never break parry concentration on the finisher - practice the timing in earlier red-glints because the final parry uses identical timing. Common mistakes: skipping Flute of the Tides loadout, panicking on the final red-glint (the timing is normal, just the stakes are higher), and treating it as a solo target (the paired-attack synchronisation requires camera awareness of both siblings).
