Synopsis

A nameless fisherman sits by a serene river in Qinghe, seemingly content with solitude and simple work. The protagonist meets him by chance and learns his true identity: Qiu Yuehai, a master of the spear and legendary for his lightness skills. Qiu Yuehai has withdrawn from jianghu to observe the world's flow. When pressed, he agrees to teach-but only through trial. He arranges a 'wine-jar challenge': the protagonist must leap across a line of floating jars suspended over water, climbing higher and higher to reach a boat in the river's middle. The challenge demands perfect double-jumps and triple-jump sequences. Those who master the rhythm earn the Meteor Flight technique-a transcendent lightness art that transforms traversal and combat mobility. Upon victory, Qiu Yuehai gifts the Afterglow Pendant, unlocking the full scope of Meteor Flight.
