Synopsis

The Hexi/Liangzhou campaign at Whitecrown Fortress and one of WWM's most emotionally heavy duels. Guo Xin - last grand protector of Anxi - has held the fortress with skeleton garrison for years past his nation's fall. The protagonist arrives as another stranger come to dislodge an old man from his post.The fight's second phase reverses time around Guo Xin, restoring him to his prime - a brutal mechanical and thematic statement: he is dying, but for one last minute he is who he was. Whether the player reads it as tragedy or duty is left to them.
