Campaign Boss
Tian Ying
Overview
Campaign dungeon boss residing beneath the Buddha Light Pagoda at Halo Peak, Qinghe.
Mechanics
Phases
-
Phase 1
Phase 1: Golden Staff
Long-range polearm + golden-energy attacks. Gold Slash linear projectile, Golden Swings combos, Golden Dance spin-into-shockwave. Meridian Touch cancels the shockwave channel for a free knockdown. Simplest phase - pure parry/dodge/punish.
-
Phase 2
Phase 2: Unarmed Buddha
New arena transport. Staff dropped - unarmed fists and feet for lightning-fast combos. Mid-phase Tian Ying floats up and channels through the Buddha statue, which projects wide AoE strikes across the arena. The statue's flanks are blind spots - fight from the sides. Punishing speed change from Phase 1.
-
Phase 3
Phase 3: Dagger Clones
Dagger weapon + teleport mobility + three clone summons. Clones attack simultaneously; Tian Ying hides for blindside strikes. Each successful parry on Tian Ying removes one clone. Ignore clones - focus parries on Tian Ying himself. Lowest individual hit difficulty but tightest HP margin.
