Synopsis

Halo Peak is the late-Qinghe difficulty wall - gated behind 6,000 Qinghe Exploration Points and completion of *The Promised Light* Jianghu Legacy. Beneath Buddha Light Pagoda, in the Thousand Buddha Cavern, Tian Ying runs a three-phase encounter: deliberate staff (phase 1), unarmed lightning combos with an arena shift (phase 2), and four-target clone summons where only successful parries on the real Tian Ying remove decoys (phase 3). Widely cited as one of the hardest fights in the game.

Gameplay Notes

Expert tier. Phase 1 is parry-greedy (high Qi per deflect). Phase 2 punishes the player who keeps phase-1 cadence - combos accelerate; mid-fight arena shift resets spacing. Phase 3 looks chaotic but is a parry-discipline check: clones cannot hurt you on commit; only real Tian Ying parries remove them. Yuan Jin'gang as companion (bow stagger) is the recommended pick.
