Mysterious adversary who awaits at the end of Kaifeng's Palace of Annals - named for a number tied to a past tragedy.

Last caretaker of the Palace of Annals - Emperor Chai Rong's private retreat, abandoned three years after his death with only a few caretakers remaining. Named 'Seventeen' because he always followed the sixteen Sword Saints of the Hanging Blade; he was the seventeenth, the youngest, the tag-along.When the Aureate Pavilion arrived and the Hanging Blade vanished mysteriously, Seventeen alone stayed to defend the legacy of his former carers. Phase one: slow, deliberate, parryable. Phase two: after being impaled by many of the swords the Hanging Blade once forged - while trying to save the dragon statue - he fights on with a massive scrap of metal and added ranged attacks.
