Synopsis

The Desert Without Sails Jianghu Legacy provides a hauntingly beautiful introduction to the lore of the Western Frontier. A shadow of an old man appears and you must restore some flickering fragments of moon-like objects scattered across the desert landscape. However, the old man will disappear, and you must use Wind Sense to find his traces and follow them through the desolate wastes. This quest is automatically unlocked upon completing In the Quiet of Night, and both In the Quiet of Night and Desert Without Sails are mandatory Jianghu Legacies to unlock the Hexi region. The quest serves as a direct prequel to the Wandering Ark world boss encounter, providing critical lore context for the ghostly vessel that haunts the Straying Steed Sands.
